FORTY-FIVE years after he introduced the original Ford Mustang, industry visionary Lee Iacocca has unveiled a new version of the famous muscle car. Only 45 of Iacocca Silver 45th Anniversary Edition Mustangs will be built, all finished in a silver picked especially by Iacocca. Nearly two years in the making, the Iacocca Mustang is a collaborative effort by Iacocca, designer Michael Leone, together with Gaffoglio Family Metalcrafters, the world-class coachbuilding and design company from Fountain Valley, California.
In a word, the new Iacocca Silver Edition Mustang is stunning. Described as a hand-crafted piece of rolling art, the fastback design is exceptional in every way.
Sunken headlights, slanted grill and a low stance, give the car real ‘street’ attitude. “Once in a while a car comes along that changes everything and that was the original Mustang,” Iacocca said. The car begins life on a 2009 Mustang platform, which is uniquely modified and coachbuilt.

-Power comes from a 4.6-litre supercharged V8 that puts out 410kW.
-The car’s suspension has been upgraded to keep pace with the power delivery.

-A 14-inch Ford Racing braking package is optional.
-The car sits on 20-inch chromies with 245/45 Goodyear rubber.
-Inside luxurious touches include Iacocca Diamond Design leather seats with embroidery stitching and Iacocca signature dash plaque with serial number.
